My new novel, "The Red Cloak," should be available on my daughter's birthday, March 8!

This month we have been watching one of my childhood favorites, "Dark Shadows." Very interesting and very fun! And VERY many episodes!

One year ago today was the homegoing service of Sister Willa Dorsey. I was just thinking of what a blessing it was to be a part of that service, to hear the testimonies of how she let the Lord use her to touch the lives of so many people around the world.

Today is a palindrome, as my brother pointed out: 01-02-2010. We are back now, all is well. We had a real taste of winter weather in Central Washington, but today in Vancouver it is nice! Can you believe, 53 degrees?
Last night we watched "Great Performances" on PBS and we enjoyed the music, we enjoyed the look at the art of Vienna and we enjoyed the ballet dancers - but what we really loved was the conductor! He was great! He was so funny!
Over the Christmas break, I read two books: "Finding Christmas" by ??? and "One Day at a Time" by Danielle Steele (not about a recovering addict.) I also started reading one by my favorite author, Nicholas Sparks, "The Last Song." I had a chance to work on proofreading the proof of my husband's 2nd book but didn't finish yet, and I am working on editing "The Red Cloak." I really want to get working on editing and proofing "After the Great Devastation," but one thing at a time! Lots of book projects in progress!

Happy New Year! And Happy New Decade! What will we call the previous decade? The Zeros?
