When things seem impossible, that is the time to take note and sit back and watch how God is going to work in the situation. Although I do not like the phrase "note to self," this is a reminder to myself on this beautiful day that the Lord has made, He is doing something even though I may not be able to see anything happening. (This day, May 8, was suppose to be my day of birth, but I cam a month early!)

May Day! May Day! Remember the tradition of putting flowers on the steps of a neighbor on May Day? When our daughter was younger, we woould very early in the morning put them on the doorsteps of an elderly neighbor, (we always had an elderly female neighbor) with no note or indication of who had put them there. Then our daughter would watch out the window to see the neighbor's reaction when she opened the door and saw the flowers.

We went to Yakima to check on my mom, who was hospitalized for an unknown reason. She is getting better now and I think the problem was that she was forgetting to take her blood pressure medicine. So we got her fixed up with what I call a BINGO box, the kind that has a little compartment for every day of the week for morning, noon, evening and night, and my brother will be sure it gets filled correctly at the beginning of the week so she won't forget. Don't they just think of everything?

Where have I been? Out of town, on Spring Break, finishing the bathroom painting job, cleaning and rearranging our daughter's room, and editing 3 books, preparing them for publication, but I haven't had a chance to do any writing for awhile. Oh, yeah, we also got a new car two weeks ago.
